Thermocold - Climatizzazione e condizionamento industriale e residenziale

Over 3,000 expositors and 200,000 visitors in five days. These are the figures characterising the 35th edition of the Expocomfort Show and meeting, in which Thermocold participated, presenting as always several new product lines, all characterised by high technical content and design.

Amongst the new series of products exhibited there were high efficiency (Energy Class A) AWA Enersave Prozone refrigeration units and heat pumps with scroll compressors and coolant R410A, now available with cooling capacity from 120 up to 780kW and heating capacity from 130 to 480 kW.

An absolute innovation was the AWA Enersave FC refrigeration unit with indirect free-cooling incorporated. This new refrigeration unit with free-cooling, covered by patent, is characterised by a highly innovative design and has the particularity of being the only one capable of operating in complete absence of glycol thanks to the particular inclined layout of the free-cooling battery.

Considering the great success obtained in the 2004 edition by the “revolutionary” chiller Artèch, Thermocold has decided to re-propose it, however, introducing new models with cooling capacity from 15 to 25 kW. Its technology is once again extremely developed: R410A as coolant and scroll compressor equipped with an inverter for continual modulation of the power supplied from 100% to 30%.

Continuing on the road of innovation also through design, Thermocold unveiled Energy Home, a small and elegant 5kW cooling capacity multifunction heating and cooling unit for the residential sector which produces hot water for sanitary use up to a temperature of 60°C and which is, therefore, capable of completely replacing the boiler for heating in winter and producing hot water for sanitary use and the refrigeration unit for summer conditioning, with operating costs and environmental impact significantly lower than traditional systems.

Finally, even the now famous range of multifunction refrigeration units Energy and Sei, patented as far back as 1996, has been extended: at the beginning of 2006 a new patent was added to the two previous ones and today the new high energy efficiency versions Sei and Energy HWT with twin scroll compressors are capable of cyclically producing hot water for sanitary use at 70°C for creating anti-Legionnaire’s disease heating cycles, which is particularly important in the hotel and residential sector. By using them in hotels, it is possible to completely avoid installing a boiler.
